Living in Safety Beach

Safety Beach is defined by water on two sides: the bay out front and the Martha Cove canal estate, where houses come with a private berth and a view over the harbour. The Safety Beach Country Club golf course and the Dromana end of the Peninsula Link freeway make it one of the easiest Peninsula suburbs to commute from.

Outside the marina, the original beachside streets have 1970s brick houses on generous blocks, many now rebuilt. It is a newer, tidier suburb than its neighbours and draws retirees and boat owners in equal measure.
