The national property portals treat the Mornington Peninsula as a list of postcodes. We don't. REMP — Real Estate Mornington Peninsula — covers the 38 suburbs of the Shire and nothing else, which means we can do the things that only matter here: the walk to the beach on every listing, which side of the Peninsula a suburb is on, where the open homes are on a Saturday from Mount Eliza to Sorrento, and what a house actually costs once Victorian stamp duty is added.
What we are
- A listings site. Agents, agencies and private sellers list for sale and for rent. Standard listings are free; Featured and Premium upgrades pay for the site.
- A suburb guide. Every suburb has a profile with real local copy, indicative medians, its beaches, the agents based there and what's listed.
- An agent directory. Around 150 Peninsula agencies, with reviews from real sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants.
What we aren't
We are not a valuer. The suburb medians on this site are indicative — compiled from agent and industry reporting and updated when better numbers arrive. They are a starting point for a conversation with an agent, not a figure to bid on.
Who runs it
REMP is published by Bunting Media Pty Ltd, based in Mornington. Agency listings were seeded from open data (the Overture Maps Foundation) and are corrected and extended by the agencies themselves when they claim their profile. Something wrong? Tell us and we'll fix it.
